Print Trouble and Increase your Sales

Do you have trouble with your current printer, do things end up going terribly wrong, are the prices not quite as you expect and lastly is the printed material delivering what you expect it to?
Does this sound like your situation, with you constantly wondering why things are always going wrong. Have you tried speaking to your printer? If you constantly buy on price alone and trawl the internet for ever cheaper prices, you will never build a relationship based on trust and delivery. Spreading your print across a range of sources, in one respect, does help you to get the cheapest price for that item, however, cumulatively you might get a better deal by placing all your print together in one place by upping your buying power. Furthermore by having an understanding of your full print requirements a print company might be better positioned to offer you alternatives that might suit your budget and sales better.
Why not try letting the printer take responsibility for the design and artwork, by doing this yourself, you are probably moving out of your area of expertise into one that has many technical pitfalls that may hold up progress on the job in question. This is where that relationship comes in, if they work with you for a period of time they know what you like and don't like, they can deliver the design and material much quicker and cheaper in terms of resources than perhaps you doing it yourself, and in the case of larger jobs, the design is often the smaller part of the process so you can really drive for good deals.
With a professionally designed brochure, your market should be taking more notice of your product, it should be delivered into the spaces that your customer uses, again the printer should have advice and experience to help you along with these details.
The long and short of this post really is to put into your minds that a relationship is far better, long term than trying to drive down the pricing and ultimately this will increase your sales by allowing you to focus on what you are good at.
